I am trying to crochet one, actually trying to write a pattern by crocheting as little messed up cupcakes as possible. So far I made two, which according to survey look more like aliens and monsters, or something round that requires eyes.
Judge for yourself:
Maybe making them in proper colors (brown cupcake, strawberry frosting) would help. Do they at least have correct shape, or am I just kidding myself?
I wrote (drafted) a pattern for Rochell when she was in class, and her cupcake looks fantastic. I used exactly the same pattern for the red one, and added some extra features for the green one. She used different (better/interesting/expensive) yarn, so that could be part of the reason.
I will give it another shot because I really want a cupcake toy!

i think you need to make the bottom part bigger.
