Leaf Dishcloth

This dishcloth is the only scrubby you will need in your kitchen. It’s great for using small amounts of yarn that you might have laying around. It very quick to make. Paired with some special soup this dishcloth will make a great gift.

Feel free to sell items made using this pattern.

Finished Measurements: approximately 6″ long, 3 1/2″ wide.
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, shown in Red Heart Super Saver, my favorite yarn for this project.
Hook: US H (5.00 mm).

Abbreviations:
Ch – chain.
Sc- single crochet.
Sc bl – single crochet worked through back loop.
St/sts -stitch/stitches

Leaf Dishcloth

Ch 18. You can chain more or less to make a bigger or smaller leaf.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 15 sts, 3 sc in last ch (place stitch marker in the middle st). Pivot your work to crochet on the opposite side of the foundation ch, sc in next 15 sts – 34 sts.

Row 2 Ch 1 (counts as sc throughout), turn, sc bl in each st to M, 3 sc bl in marked st (PM in middle st), sc bl in next 15 sts – 34 sts.

Repeat last row 4 more times, or until desired.

Last row: Ch 1, ), turn, sc bl in each st to M, (sc bl, ch 10, sc bl) in marked st, sc bl in next 15 sts. Fasten off, weave in ends.
