I LOVE the cover sweater. I love to crochet cardigans but don’t do it enough. This book really shows how you can take the traditional stitches and work them in a way that fits our style today. I need to make it for my fall wardrobe! So glad it is part of this book. I think Robyn always does a wonderful job pulling together talented designers and beautiful work! Thanks for sharing with us. As a child I used to watch my mother do the most intricate & delicate crochet work on this earth. She learnt her craft from her grandmother. I think that is why this book & the few pictures of Anastasia’s work I have seen, resonates with me.
Today I am ever so sad that I didn’t take more note when my mother offered to teach me.
As an adult I taught myself to crochet & would sincerely like to try my hand at the garments in this book. It would be like going back in time to a period where people still took pride in handmade items & more so, time didn’t hurry along so much.
Just to be able to sit down & crochet again, while thinking on golden days of crafts. Pure therapy for the soul!

I learned to crochet before I learned to knit…so crochet for me has been my first stress reliever and crafty love! <3 I'd like a copy of this book to enhance my crochet skills and honestly, anything vintage is always inspiring to me!

I love all sorts of different types of crochet projects – from amigurumi to afghans, hats to cowls. My all-time favorite items are doilies though. I love Robyn’s designs – they are so beautiful!

I love crocheting. It brings back so many memories of my grandmother. She taught me to crochet literally, at her knee. I crocheting Irish lace as well as older patterns that remind me of Grammy.

I never met the grandmother that created doilies but I did find her pattern books, scissors and hooks! She loved lace weight and I’m finally beginning to work with it. It’s quite different than working with worsted and it helps me slow down and appreciate the yarn. My mother always wanted me to crochet more delicate items. I’m sorry to say I didn’t do enough before she passed but I promised myself I would. This book would be a lovely addition to the collection I now have from my grandmother.

I’ve mostly made hats, scarves, blankets and baby things in crochet. This book looks like the perfect way to learn to make something more challenging and beautiful to wear.
