is finally done and available. I started making those socks about two weeks ago. Remember when it was extremely hot, like 103 F hot? Yeap, that’s when I was started working on them.
I made the pink one first, which turned out to be in newborn size. Then, I sizes the sock pattern up to three more sizes: 0-3 month, 3-6 month and 6-12 month. I crocheted all the sizes to check my calculations and that they indeed come out in those sizes. Some corrections were made. And after checking and rechecking, it is finally here.
It is done!!! DONE
It is worked in the same yarn as before – Patons Stretch Socks. It consist of the perfect mix of fibers: cotton – breathable and light, wool – fuzzy and warm, nylon – for durability, and my favorite – elastic -makes socks so stretchy! Such an awesome blend for crochet socks.
In case you are still wondering why in the world am I crocheting socks in those hot, hot days, keep reading. My best friend is having a baby in few weeks (hi Alena). I thought it would be a cute idea to make mother/daughter matching socks. Since I already have a pattern for adult socks (even two), I figured it would be an easy project.
