In case you did not notice, I disappeared from the face of the Earth…
No… Not really… I am still here! I was just busy. I know this is very original excuse. Nobody every used it before.
But really I was. I had some major changes in my personal life, which I am not going to disclose here because this is my professional craft blog. (I also have personal blog in case you were wondering). However, if you made it to classes you know what I am talking about. Well if you are wondering, feel free to email me.
Speaking of classes. Yes, they are available and we have been meeting every Wednesday at Market Fair mall as before.
There been slight changes. I am working on making crochetnj.com more professional. What did I want accomplish by changing crochetnj.com from blog style to the website format? In no particular order:
1. Have schedule of classes available for a few week ahead and ability for you, guys, to book classes ahead of time. (DONE and in process)
2. Have patterns available online to download. (Still on my to do list)
3. Have tutorials available, possibly with videos. (My excuse for not doing it yet – waiting for Maksim to buy a video camera)
4. Have online classes. I am really looking into this, and it would be really exciting to teach them. (Well… to do list)
5. Keep the blog for blogging about my designing/crocheting process and projects, have more pictures, share more ideas, get feedback, brag about publications. (Drafts and to do list)
Why am I putting this list out here? To keep me more accountable and to remember what my plans were :).
That is it for now, I might add something, or delete some, but preferably to accomplish what is planned.
And lastly, I am been published!!! Well, not me per say, but my patterns. I have known for few month now that it is happening, but I did not know the specifics. One of the publications is coming out next year in Crochet Pattern a Day Calendar! More on this in the next post.
My othe pattern is coming out this fall in one of the best crochet magazines!! I do not know how much I can actually right about it, so that it is for today.
