Yarn from Stitches

Here is what I picked up at Stitches East:

1. Malabrigo Sock, 100% superwash merino wool. Part of the reason why I wanted to go to Stitches is to get my hands on THIS yarn. I recently discovered the joy of Malabrigo, and I wanted more! So I got those two pretty colors!

I think it is way too pretty to be socks and be hidden on feet, so it looks like one of them will become gloves and the other one will be cropped cardy. Just have to decide what will be what.

2. Araucania Itata Multy made in Italy, hand dyed in Chile, 70% superwash wool, 15% silk, 15% bamboo.

This one is just screaming I want to be a shawl. Don’t you think?

3. Miss Babs Yowza-Whatta Skein in orange, 100% wool. Browsing through rows and rows of amazing yarn, this one had my name on it! Miss Babs such a wonderful dyer, and she has some gorgeous yarn! I love her yarn. This is definitely not my last skein.

Absolutely deliciously gorgeous!!! I really needed something orange for a pattern I have in mind, yes it have to be orange!

4. Creatively Dyed Yarn, Woodbrook, 100% superwash wool.  Another the reason why I wanted to go to Stitches is Creatively dyed yarns.  I was eyeballing her yarn from Ravelry, and so wanted to see them in person.  Dianne is another wonderful indie dyer. Her color combos are just cool!
This is going to be a cardigan. I am already working on it, had to pull it out the second time because I did not like how it was fitting.  It already has a name – forest cardigan.
