I woke up Saturday to what seemed to an innocent message from my cell phone: ” hey, do you want to install a cool update to make you super cool phone even cooler?” So I clicked “sure”. “It will take few minutes and you wont’ be able to make any phone calls”. “OK”.
Fast forward half an hour
That was not a cool update, it was a completely different software. I just got used to using this one! Are people at Samsung really that bored?! Ok, fine, I can learn a new software, how hard can it be? It’s a cell phone for god sake. By the end of the Saturday I was OK with it, and kind of started to like it. Some things were easier, some were harder, but I was getting used to it.
Until I realized that I lost ALL of my NOTES! The thing is I get ideas for new patterns and new classes everywhere: while driving, at work, sleeping, shopping, so I can’t always write them down in a notebook since I don’t carry one with me everywhere! But I have my cool phone that I can use! Right!? Apparently wrong, because they are gone, all of them, just gone! Sob
I also discovered that some of the phone numbers are lost, like every single family member and everyone who comes to my crochet classes. So if you belong to one of those categories, would you kindly give me your number again, please!
So I typed up this post. Clicked save to draft, and went to sleep. The next day I wanted to publish it and when I went into my draft folder it was gone.
