The class was great!! As always ;).
We could not get our usual big table at art section, so we put two tables together at Starbucks. It was a good size space for 6 of us,.. kind of tight, but comfortable.
For the first time ever, I taught my youngest student. Layla is 7 years old and very talented. By the end of the class she was half done with her DS cozy. I started it for her and only showed her how to do single crochet in consecutive rounds. She said that it felt comfortable for her and that she is getting the hang of it! 😉 That’s what we, adults, luck, the confidence, the I-can-do-it attitude. Should we learn it from her?

That is so great! Do you have any other tips about teaching crochet to kids?

As for the tips.. I have 3:
1. Motivation
2. Motivation
3. Motivation
Seriously 🙂 that make all the difference. Just show them how to do it, one step at the time, and let them do it.
