I have been keeping a secret from you. I can finally share this with you!!! remember, I was mentioning one of my patterns was chosen to be in the best crochet magazine ever. Ready? I could not mention it before, but now I can.
Drum roll…
It is coming out in Interweave Crochet!!! Ahhhhhh
In the fall issue to be precise! Yes, this fall issue! The one that is going to be in book stores in few weeks! And became available for preview today!! Go check it out, I will wait
There are some very beautiful patterns that should be interesting to make. I already downloaded Blue Ridge Hoodie. It is available for free right now. I am planning on making it. May be even have a class on it. What do you think?
Back to ME! Because it is my blog! have you found my pattern yet? I give you a hint, it has my name on it and it is called Snow Queen Hat, and in case you missed it, here is a picture
It is mine!!! The hat is knit in rounds and crochet motifs are made separately and then attached to the hat. Yes, you got it right. My first ever pattern to be published is half knitted. I really like pictures that they took.
I am beyond excited!!! cannot wait to see it on the stand at Borders. Guess what I am going to do. Take picture with it in the store and then run around and tell everyone there that it is my design. Yeap, I am going to do that!

Congratulations! The hat is very pretty
Interweave Crochet is one of the best in the US, but there are magazines as great in other countries… Like Inside Crochet from the UK for example…

Anna, thank you so much for your comment :). I have heard a lot of great thing about Inside Crochet, just did not get a chance to get my hand on it ;). I am alos not very fluent in British crochet. I will check it out, thanks for pointing that out to me.

Currently the pattern is only available in the magazine. If you like this pattern, I would not hesitate to buy the whole issue, there are so many wonderful patterns in it. It’s Fall 2010 of Interweave Crochet. You can pick it up in any book store, local yan store, or it’s available at Interweavecrochet.com. I was told that soon both pattern (knit/crochet combo and crochet versions) will be available as a bundle at interweave website.

Hello!
I noticed that in your post you mentioned that you had downloaded the pattern for the Blue Ridge Hoodie, which I saw online at Interweave Crochet’s post at Crochet Me under their “free patterns”, but for some reason, although it’s listed there as a freebie, it’s not available for download (?) So, I was wondering if I could ask you to please email the pattern to me as I’d like to make one also.
Thank you!
