Rnd 2: ch 2, 1 dc in next st, [2dc, ch1, 2 dc in ch-1 space, 1 dc in next 3 st] repeat 3 times; 2dc, ch1, 2 dc in ch-1 space, 1 dc in next st, slst to ch2 (32 st)
Rnd 3: ch 2, 1 dc in next 3 st, [2dc, ch1, 2 dc in ch-1 space, 1 dc in next 7 st] repeat 3 times; 2dc, ch1, 2 dc in ch-1 space, 1 dc in next 3 st, slst to ch2 (48 st)
Continue in established pattern: 1 dc in every dc of the previous row, in every corner (ch-1 space) make 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc. Join every round with slst.
